Deception Starts Early, When We are Impressionable Children

Deception starts right away when you are a young, innocent child. I mean why would the devil wait until your adult to start deceiving you and confusing you?

The Lies Start in the Public School System!

We are told the earth is billions of years old, that the earth was formed in the Big Bang Theory, evolution that we are descended from apes, that humans didn’t live at the same time as dinosaurs, etc. As a young child, it was confusing for me even though I attended Sunday school (I went to an Orthodox church as a kid). Our science and history has been infiltrated over time with lies that are made to look like facts.

We even go to history and science museums where they date things to be millions of years old as if it is solid facts.

Genesis teaches us God Created the Earth! God created everything, creatures and humans within 6 days.

God Created Everything in 6 Days!

(Our version of a day with both evening and morning, darkness and light)

GENESIS:

⁵ And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

⁸ And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
¹³ And the evening and the morning were the third day.
14 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
²³ And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
³¹ And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

God clearly defines that one day consists of evening (darkness) and morning (light). He made this distinction on purpose. He even makes sure to repeat that each day is OUR definition of one day. Why would he repeat himself? To make sure we knew each day is our definition of one day, not a thousand years, not millions, and not billions of years! I believe God also wants to show us that He can do a lot in one day. There are only guesses to how old earth actually is, but to say for sure that dinosaurs existed millions of years before humans is false, to say that they didn’t exist at the same time is false.

Most people who believe in the bible would say the earth is around, slightly over 6,000 years old by counting up the genealogies listed in the bible. I haven’t done the homework, so I can’t argue as to how old the Earth is. But to say that the earth is billions or even millions of years is not believable when we read the bible. If humans existed from the beginning, which the bible says they did, it is unbelievable that the earth is millions or billions of years old. It doesn’t follow scripture.

Dinosaurs

God made humans and beasts in the same day! (Genesis 1: 25, 26)

As my husband says, it’s not science unless you can verify the truth. So, the only way these scientists could say accurately that dinosaurs are millions of years old, is if they had a time machine, and they went back a million years to show the dinosaurs existed then. It is all just bogus, NOT fact! We could examine a dog and find an approximate age of 12, and we can verify this is accurate within a certain degree of error by examining other dogs we know are that age.

There is also pretty good reason to believe that the bible does mention dinosaurs when it talks about beasts, and most Christians believe they are called “dragons.” The bible talks about dragons, and some of the descriptions sound like what we call dinosaurs. The word “dinosaur” was created long after the bible was written.

I watched some of a documentary that talked about the evidence of the earth being flooded, because yes there is evidence of this. Many scientists disregard that the earth was flooded. However, a flood helps to explain why some animal species seem to have more significant signs of decay, and also explain the changes in the earth.

Visit the Ark Museum & Creation Museum in Kentucky for some biblical history, it is a really quite incredible. I remember learning quite bit! (Note: I recall them accurately sticking to the bible, but it was before I was born again.)

History Does Align with the Bible

There are historical books the prove the accuracy of the bible!

• The biblical narrative aligns closely with secular ancient history, mapping the rise and fall of major world empires that dominated the Near East and Mediterranean.
• There are even historical accounts outside of the bible of the people listed throughout the bible.
• We can even go to some of the places that the bible lists, and actually see the physical, historical evidence of what took place. I hope to some day!

We Should Seek Truth!

The enemy has implanted lies into our culture, our educational systems, museums that are supposed to teach us history, science that is well accepted, and churches that have been corrupted over time. We learn lies about who we are, lies about how God works, and lies that we can’t be free from a sinful nature.  

I Believe in ALL of scripture and the truth of it with great importance placed on ALL that is written in the New Testament. With the Holy Spirit, I can now see how ALL pieces come together and create one truth. Important scriptures that once confused me and scared me don’t anymore.

Sure, things like what we believe about the age of the earth isn’t going to prevent us from being saved. BUT it is important as a Christian to accept the whole bible as truth. How are we supposed to share truth to others when we accept worldly things that the bible shows are not truth? The bible isn’t created to be a pick and choose what you want to believe.

The Bible is TRUTH: Not parts, All of it!

Is the most trusted, truth you can find in this life.

People want to take worldly things they learn and squeeze them in between the lines of scripture. But we are really just supposed to treat the bible as our guide to what is ultimate truth, and dismiss what the world says is truth if it doesn’t line up with scripture.

There are many people who call themselves Christians writing books to teach things outside of biblical truth like with NDE (near death experiences). People who will say their Christian and talk about incredible miracles, then will go off the rails sharing things not biblical. There are a lot of deceptive things in this world.

Almost everything that is written is still written for us today. It is not outdated. We know we don’t follow the Old Testament levitical law anymore, and I will talk more on that in my next blog. But we still need to learn it. I know people get confused on like Paul’s writings, like women being quiet in church. Okay so that was written for the women of that time, yes. It was just based on what he experienced, noisy church women. He never said it was a rule we all need to follow.

NOTE: A Christian should believe the bible over worldly explanations. Demons are not sitting in hell. They are here on earth deceiving people, causing chaos, and destruction. They haven’t been locked up yet!

Many children’s movies, talk about “God of the Moon and Stars”, “God of the Sea”, etc. The devil goes to work early on to desensitize us to these things. Now today we have a movie called “Kpop Demon Hunters” that is for children! To desensitize children to what is darkness, what is evil.

We can be certain of what is truth when we are BORN AGAIN! 

I have experienced so many things that at one time I thought only happened in biblical times. I’ve experienced things straight out of the bible. Things that can’t be explained other than God is real, Christ is real, the Holy Spirit is real, and the bible is all truth.

After fully repented, and received the Holy Spirit, I realized over time how many lies the enemy had told me that I believed from the world, from churches that were not sharing the Gospel truth, And I was like WOW.

Both Chris and I see now more clearly the battle between good and evil. I notice things I never paid much attention to. I hear things in movies, tv, music, and more that I never took note of before. I see how much darkness has crept into the world and has disgusted itself. How evil is softened in a joking manner. Some evil is given a fun demeanor instead of a danger sign that says “keep out.” Even when I thought I knew better, it turns out without the Holy Spirit I was missing so much stuff. There is stuff which has become such a normal part of our culture.

I even hear of things corporate churches do that the bible warns against. In another blog, I talk about why it is so important to have Discernment from the Holy Spirit and to read scripture.

The battle between good and evil is very real today! It’s important to know whether you are on the wide path or narrow path, because you can’t straddle the line! You are either saved – born again on the narrow road, or on the wide path toward death and destruction.

 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
