THE VOID, THE EMPTY FEELING Can’t be Filled by WORLDLY THINGS.

The bucket is a representation of trying to fill the void.

Without the Holy Spirit there is a void inside like something is missing… so you try to fill with worldly things such as: material things, hobbies, relationships, money, achievements, the perfect body, fancy home, trips, church involvement, etc. We fill it with what the world tells us we need or want.

Yes, we all have the void (it is a bit different for everyone, but yet still the same). It’s kind of like this search for ultimate peace really, but for some it can show up as this feeling of obtaining ultimate happiness, other’s purpose, security, others success, or all of the above.

Many people want to pretend that they don’t have the void (for some it may be subconsciously buried). Some want to stay busy so they don’t feel the void, they use distraction to keep from noticing it.

Some recognize it, and think we are the only one who has it, but that’s not true. Everyone is trying to fill that void with something. Perhaps at some point, you were like “yeah filled, done, boom!” And then it just shows back up again. At some point you might have this thought: “wait I filled it with all this stuff, why is it still here? What am I still missing?”

IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT!

We may see someone we think is living their best life, and be jealous, but let me tell you, if they are not saved – they still have the void. There is no amount of money, satisfaction with one’s body, possessions, achievements, money, awards, recognition, or anything else worldly that can fill up that void!

People are searching in religion, some in corporate churches, some in worldly things, trying to figure out what is missing! It makes me really mad that many people are tricked into thinking they have the Holy Spirit just because they repeated a prayer.

TWO BIGGEST LIES: WHAT IT ACTUALLY MEANS TO REPENT AND WHAT IT MEANS TO BE BORN AGAIN! You need a miraculous transformation when born again. Religion is deceiving many people.

The void is always there, unless it is filled with the Holy Spirit and you have a relationship with your creator (also helps if religious mindsets are destroyed)!

We Were ALL Designed to NEED God!

We were created to need a relationship with our creator. God designed us to NEED him! When we feel like something is missing, and we look to worldly things to fill the emptiness – we are never satisfied. Because we were designed to NEED God!

While scripture doesn’t give us a lot of information on why we were created, one thing is evident, God created us to be able to make choices for ourselves and have freewill because He wanted a REAL relationship with us, not something manufactured (not robotic). God loves us, and He wants us to love him back, but he lets us make the choice: stay in the darkness and follow the wide road to death and destruction, or choose the narrow road that leads to life with our creator.

ONLY the author/creator of life can feel that void inside.
