Religion and Church Won’t Save You! Jesus Saves!
95% of RELIGION Doesn’t Share What the Bible Says on How to be SAVED!
MOST RELIGIONS AND CHURCHES ARE WATERING DOWN THE BIBLE & DECEIVING PEOPLE LEAVING OUT THE MOST IMPORTANT PIECES!
Think about this, Paul the greatest Apostle, went to multiple cities to preach the Gospel. He stayed with the people for long periods of time establishing their churches, and then while he was gone false teachers came in and turned people away from the Gospel. He actually had to go back to those places or send letters to get them back to following the Gospel. This happened well over 1,800 years ago (I’m not sure exactly, but it is in the thousands). So when you ask yourself if it is possible over that long of a period of time for ALL RELIGION to become a form of deception? The answer should be YES!
I’ve researched multiple Christian religions, and viewed many churches beliefs, and found they are ALL missing pieces to what scripture is saying about the most important thing – SALVATION! How to get to Heaven and NOT spend eternity in the bad place.
RELIGION DOESN’T SAVE YOU!
I found a podcast that started breaking down scripture meaning verse by verse. I started reading the scripture in the bible and running Google searches and finding what I’m hearing, reading, and researching is all saying the same truths. It’s unbelievable I’ve learned more in the last 6 months, then I have learned in 8 or more years of church services. And those churches were better than my childhood church. I learned things, yes, but so much was missing!!
I’ve met two people recently who after finding out the truth also gave up on traditional churches because they realized they were being deceived.
How can ALL Christian Religions be right when they are ALL saying different things about what it means to be saved?
They can’t, none of them are 100% right. Okay, I did find like one church in my searches that spells it out on their website. So maybe 5% share the biblical truth.
I Used to Believe…
I used to believe all churches overlap on this theme that you believe in Jesus you go to heaven. You believe that He died to save us from our sins, and was resurrected on the 3rd day according to scripture. You believe in His existence, and that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one (Trinity). Then, you ask for forgiveness of your sins. Then, you start doing all this other stuff that shows you believe and love God. So praying is a must, making an effort go to church, tidying, sharing about your faith – sharing the Gospel, trying to be morally good, etc. I thought doing these things meant I had a heart for God. BUT believing these things is how I’m saved is following religion NOT following Jesus. NOT FOLLOWING WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS!
Believe in Everything About Jesus – Not JUST One Bible Verse
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”. – John 3:16 states
Many churches and religions use this verse to say we are saved because we believe Jesus is our savior and died for us. But believing in someone is believing in everything about them! Everything about Jesus – ALL of what He says all of what he did. Think of it this way: how a little kid believes in everything about Santa, not just his existence. The devil believes in Jesus’s existence and that he died on the cross too, so just believing isn’t enough!
The TRUTH has Changed Me!
I have made changes, and now I feel this shift inside of me. I read the bible and for the first time in my life I understand like never before. The things that confused me now make sense. And I’m HUNGRY for the WORD of God every single day! If someone told me a year ago, I was going to love learning scripture this much, I wouldn’t have believed them!
I follow Jesus because religion is not going to save me.
For the first time in my life, I truly care a significant amount more about what God thinks of me, than what other people think of me. But at the same time, I know I’m not perfect and I’m going to struggle, but I also know that is where my FAITH comes in. I will share more about how this has changed me in other blogs.
You Can Read It and Still Not Understand
The Bible Itself Tells us This!
2 Corinthians 4:3–4 – “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not…”
2 Corinthians 3:16 – “Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.”
These verses are saying that you need to believe to understand the Gospel, and when you turn to God the vail is lifted. Therefore, the bible will make more sense to you. I have experienced this!!!!
You can read the whole bible and still miss what it means to be saved ALSO because of brainwashing and conditioning. We are told a certain story all our lives about what it means to be saved, so we read what we feel aligns with those beliefs. There is a term called the Illusory Truth Effect – it describes the tendency for people to believe information they have heard or seen repeatedly, even if it is false, especially if it aligns with their existing beliefs or feels familiar (Wikepedia). It takes over all logical thinking. YIKES!
We also have something called “confirmation bias” which is the fact that people tend to search for information that confirms their existing beliefs, and then ignore anything that contradicts it.
I share the TRUTH for GOD to receive the GLORY not me!
I’m just doing what he calls me to do.
I don’t make any money with this blog, I tried at one time, but stopped. And there are no future plans to make an income from this blog. I write what I feel compelled to write about. I don’t write about what’s popular, and I don’t write to please anyone. Ideas 90% of the time come to me naturally. When an idea circles in my head for days, I feel I need to write about it.

I have spent many months soaking in the truth and making sure I understand it, I’ve spent weeks writing these blogs. He has been working in me all my life to get to this point. I was a bit worried I won’t be able to do a significant job, but I trusted in God, and now I feel really good about it. It isn’t easy to share, but it is necessary. We all deserve the TRUTH! When I write – I have to trust and have faith.
And I will do the right thing in telling you: read scripture for yourself too.
