I am an EVANGELIST (Ephesians 4: 11-12)

Every born-again Christian is called to evangelize, but a select few are chosen to be Evangelists.

Qualifications: God Qualifies me. It isn’t something I chose. It was chosen for me before I was ever born.

Not every leader, pastor, teacher, has been called or chosen by God. People will go into ministry for all different reasons. Some are called by God, but they fall into religion and end up not sharing the true Gospel.

I have NO Religious Training. I won’t receive it – Because Religion is a Problem! Religion is pretty much deception. Just the same as biblical times… Today’s Pharisees are blinding people and blinding many kindhearted pastors! They have created religious training, education, systems and mindsets that keep people from the Gospel truth and the peace God wants us to have. Many people are confused as to what the New Testament is saying because they don’t actually have the Holy Spirit. The disciples were with Jesus all the time and they were confused. But then they received the Holy Spirit and understood, had wisdom, and they were on fire to share. Before I had the Holy Spirit I was confused by scripture, but everything changed after I was filled with the Holy Spirit.

I learn from God. I learn from others with the same Holy Spirit who are learning from God. I can see now how God has been preparing me all my life for this.

I know God wants me to help people by sharing the Gospel truth, but also to find freedom from religion, to rest in the peace and joy of being a saved child of God. And who knows what else in the future, only God knows! 

What is the Role of an Evangelist?

Well, every born-again Christian is called to evangelize, few are chosen to be Evangelists. An Evangelist is a Ministry role with the main purpose being to share the Gospel truth and bring in lost souls. Evangelists are leaders in sharing the truth, training, equipping, and inspiring others to evangelize. A big part of my calling is also freeing people from religion.

God has equipped me with the Gift of Mercy and the Gift of Spiritual Wisdom to help me Evangelize. Well, I always had wisdom on some level from an early age, spiritual wisdom showed up when I was born again. I’ve always seen the world a bit differently, I see things others don’t, and I feel deeper than most.

Our society has us thinking of pastors as the main ones to evangelize, but that’s not what scripture shows us. You will see Pastors main role is being a shepherd, taking care of the flock, helping the sheep (those already saved) (1 Peter 5:1-2). Of course, they evangelize too, but it was never supposed to be their main role.

Five Fold Ministry

Every leadership role is important: Pastor (cares for believers), Teacher (guides & equips), Prophet (delivers messages, guidance, & warnings from God), Evangelist (reaches and harvests, brings in the lost), and Apostle (builds churches, sets divine order).
These are all present today! People call it “Five Fold Ministry.” I know of a few apostles, some evangelists, and a couple true prophets.To find a church where all these roles are present though, that’s hard!!! Many have their own ministries.

¹¹ So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, ¹² to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. – Ephesians 4: 11-12

Jesus gives specific leaders as gifts to prepare all believers for ministry and strengthen the Christian community.

*NOTE: I’m very cautious about trusting anyone who says they are a prophet, apostle, etc., as yes there are false prophets and can be false apostles, or even evangelists. You should already know their are false pastors. I read content and receive discernment from the Holy Spirit.

BORN to Be Different

I knew ever since I was a young child there was something different about me. It became very clear to me I didn’t fit in early on, but I always tried to blend in. We live in a world designed for certain types of people to thrive (more on this another time). So, it became easy for me to believe the voices that said “you were born broken.” I won this battle years and years ago, but I still had a voice telling me, “God doesn’t love you enough.” I had to come out of agreement with this lie using scripture. I understand now that these attacks were part of being born a threat to the devil. It became known to me in a few different ways after I was born again that I was a born threat.

All my life I was waiting for some bigger plan that God had for me. But I was always thinking of something much, much, much smaller.

UNQUALIFIED by my Own Standards – How could this be my story???

Finding out I was a born threat wasn’t a celebratory thing, it was met with tears, and a list of reasons in my mind of why I was unqualified. Yet, everything in my life all of a sudden made more sense. But I had fear of all of the battles I know I had yet to face. I was already facing spiritual attacks and I knew I was facing many of the same battles as those in the bible: preaching the REAL GOSPEL TRUTH when most people who call themselves Christians are actually following religion. Just as the Pharisees deceived people in the bible (today’s version of the Pharisees are deceiving people with religion). I was deceived, so I know.

Spiritually Growing to Become the Threat I was Born to Be

So I thought about Moses and how he felt unqualified, and how the people in the bible relied on God’s supernatural power to be qualified, and I said to myself, “I need to start spiritually growing because God is going to give me everything I need.” So, I leveled up (yeah kinda like in a video game). I have no idea what the levels are but I know my mind is a pretty strong fortress now. I’ve faced some trials and testing (just like in the bible).

The truth is I was in a spiritual battle before and after I was saved. Because these demons didn’t want me saved, and they certainly don’t want me to spiritually grow. But by spiritually growing (leveling up), learning spiritual warfare, by putting on the armor of God (Ephesians 6: 10-17), by getting free from religious mindsets, I am more confident, secure, and have more peace than ever before. I’m becoming more and more comfortable with who I am and who God is molding me to be.

I don’t care if people think I’m crazy. My identity is Daughter of the King and the work I have to do is too important to care.

“I know now God didn’t create me to fit in. He created me to be incredibly different and to stand out as a burning fire guiding others to truth. There is a fire inside of me that can’t be put out.”

Confidence Without Pride

It is harder to write about me vs teaching the Gospel truth, as I don’t want to draw too much attention to myself. But I’m being led to write this because it helps build a level of trust.

I can’t think of myself as better than anyone, because as a true Christian, I’m not allowed to be prideful. I know this! I actually spent time retraining my brain to figure out how to be confident without being prideful. I can still fall into pride, it would be prideful to think I can’t. But I know I am who I am because of God. My life has been met with challenges that are brutal for being chosen to do big things for the Kingdom of Heaven. Yet, I’m still happy to be me. It is incredible some of the things I have experienced, what God will do through me, and who I’m becoming. But I’m saved because of Jesus, and it is God’s grace that has changed me.

My Ministry as an Evangelist

I’m not entirely sure what it will look like in a couple months, a year, 10 or 20 years. It is still so new to me. I’m just being led by God one step at a time. I only have random puzzle pieces of what is to come.

I will be creating a new website. I received the name for my new website recently, and already secured the domain. I will have all my blogs on this site. The Wellness Resolution was created with a different purpose in mind, and I won’t be shutting it down as I feel I have created a ton of great content on wellness. So, I will just copy all my spiritual blogs onto my new site. I’m imagining selling artwork, a page for future books, the blog of course, videos maybe, and who knows what else…
